2017 Ocean Express 38 Poker Run
Ocean Express builds only catamarans. They are planing hulls and every catamaran is manufactured to the same "standard of excellence" using skilled labor and high-tech materials. This is what the categories have in common with each other. For many years, Ocean Express was known primarily as a manufacturer of high performance "offshore race catamarans". Now they make catamarans that could be used for general recreational boating.
Fishing Catamarans are designed for the serious minded sport fisherman. The Fishing Catamarans are loaded with special features for fishermen.
Sport Catamarans are designed for people looking for both high performance and an all around "fun day boat". Sport Catamarans have a large cockpit and a finished cabin with an enclosed head.
Poker Run Catamarans are built for speed. The deck is designed similar to an "offshore race catamaran" and the vessels are rigged for poker run competition. A typical Poker Run Catamaran has an unfinished cabin (to reduce the overall weight) and is offered with different engine configurations.
